Sea Island Tours
This 2 hour motorized tour covers portions of James and Johns Islands, two of the five Gullah Islands in the Charleston area, and shows a different perspective outside Charleston's city limits. This tour stops at Ft. Lamar preserved Civil War battleground, James Island, the entrance to McLeod Plantation and Burn Churchyard Cemetery and the 1,400 Year Old Angel Oak Tree. The visitor will also see and hear about the Gullah / Geechee Culture, the Mass 54th Black Regiment, the Stono Rebellion, various neighborhoods and more.
All of our tours are conducted by licensed tour specialists in the comfort of air conditioned buses. Length of the general tour can vary from 1 to 2 hours depending on your needs.
