I am working on a book that focuses on my experiences during 20 years as a Licensed Tour Guide in Charleston. The emphasis will be on the tourists I have met and the things they say and do on my tour: their comments and reactions to various sites and attractions, their stories, and their responses to each other and happenings outside the tour bus.

Some don't think before they ask questions. For example, "How long is your 2 hour tour?" and "Is the Black History Tour for Black People only?"

And who knows what one will see outside of the tour bus that creates conversation: A bumper sticker that reads, "Ex wife in truck." Corbett Dominick of Columbus, Ohio saw this sticker and said, "I left my Ex in the trunk of my car at the Visitor Center,"
